GeeBeeMoto is owned and run by Mark and Chris, 2 good friends who initially met many years ago when Mark replied to advert to audition as a rhythm guitarist for Chris's band PistonFunkMachine. They immediately clicked both on and off stage, and when the inevitable band split occurred (due to musical differences, obviously !) they remained great friends. Chris formed a new 2-piece band called The Unassisted and quickly drafted in 3rd member Mark who turned his hand to playing bass guitar. Their friendship grew even stronger with their mutual love of motors, and it peaked when Chris acted as midwife helping to deliver Marks dogs puppies - Honey, FatBoy, Dolly, LeghArmsSpecial and Macca (they've been given proper names now!). Although they didn't know it at the time, a business collaboration was always going to happen......
GeeBeeMoto started life in 2019 as online service-parts provider for the motorcycle enthusiast which progressed into motorcycle servicing and repair. Naturally, servicing and repair of cars soon followed. From this progression it became apparent from speaking to customers that the treatment and service received by buyers of second hand vehicles from "reputable" dealers was, on the whole, not very good.
The quote from a customer that summarised buyers experience elsewhere was - "Its just not right to think you can just wash a car, sell it, and hope nothing goes wrong with it".
Unless the car being bought was new or specialist, the buyer generally received poor customer service and quite often a substandard car.
It was at this point Mark asked Chris to join him in this venture, and they decided to do something about it.
Although GeeBeeMoto is a small fledgling company they intend to match, and even go beyond what the larger and more established dealerships offer.
GeeBeeMoto strive to return every car and motorcycle that they sell to be as close to their original showroom condition as possible; to sell every vehicle with a 12-month MOT without advisories; to personally test drive all their vehicles, and if they find something that needs fixing, fix it.
Even though the amount of work put into each vehicle is high, their prices remain very competitive, but most importantly, the actual value of the vehicle far exceeds that of the competition.
